Din-ISO code to NC-Hops
Discussion Icon by pablo uzquiano at 14.11.2011 14:43

I have a Pro-Master with NC_hops v5.4 running in Siemens 810D,and I have a Cad-Cam program too. This Cad-Cam program generates an Iso code for Siemens 810d. But this code is soo long to paste in DinIso_Call.
My answer is. Can I save this code with .mpf or .spf extension in a directory, and call this in the .hop program?
Thanks

Hello,

saving the code in .mpf or .spf and than call in .hop program is not possible.
You need a postprocessor for your CAD / CAM System or an DXF export from there.

kind regards,

Thank you for answer.
Sorry, but I can not believe it. I have a documentation that explains how to do it, but I guess it's not for Siemens, because in my machine does not exist the directory referred to, in this documentation.

You can only copy a limited number of blocks of DinIso into the HOP program, not the complete designed workpiece.

For further Informations please contact our customer service.
They can explain exactly how to do with this import/export option of those codes.
It is somewhat dangerous to use this option, because every movement in DIN ISO is not checked for collision by the postprocessor.
